ClipAR augmented reality (AR) head-up display (HUD) is the new standard for night-time operations. Enhancing operational capability by allowing the wearer to overlay critical information in low light situations, providing a significant tactical advantage & improved situational awareness.

User GPS position & heading can be displayed to the operator, while also providing real-time AR data coming from a Battle Management System such as ATAK, enhancing situational awareness & operator safety. AR data could consist of live Blue Force tracking, pre-planned routes, or video from external devices such as ISR assets. Filters can be easily applied to ensure the cognitive burden is minimised & users are not overwhelmed by excess information.

All ClipAR functions are controlled using an intuitive, multifunction scroll wheel designed to minimise the training burden & ensure simple operation in all environments.

ClipAR is mounted to existing night vison devices using a bracket that allow the devices to be clipped on to the NVG when required.
Power & AR data is provided by Thermoteknix Augmented Reality Tactical Interface Module (ARTIM), acting as an intelligent battery pack mounted on the rear of the helmet.

ARTIM integrates with existing digital soldier systems & secure communication networks to display real-time data sharing & instant situational awareness, which in turn can be displayed by ClipAR for collaboration across multiple teams.
