Thermoteknix has again been invited to showcase its latest advancements in soldier technology at Future Soldier Technology 2023 in London.

Thermoteknix is a leading manufacturer of thermal imagers and night vision systems and is supporting 'Future Soldier' programmes and 'Soldier Modernisation' plans for modern peacekeeping.

Out technology is supporting projects that are driving infantry capabilities into the future and making the dismounted soldier more lethal, protected and ready to fight in the challenging conditions of the modern-day battlefield.

Thermoteknix is currently working with NATO to equip troops on the front line, equipped with Thermoteknix ClipIR XD-E Thermal Clip-on systems (TCOS) featuring Augmented Reality capability, for enhanced situational awareness at night.

At the event, we will be demonstrating our Augmented Reality Tactical Interface Module (ARTIM) which delivers superior heads-up situational awareness.

ARTIM mounts to the back of the helmet to track where the user is located and where they are looking, receiving/publishing networked PLI (Position Location Information) data, and rendering an augmented reality overlay to the user.

Mission data is displayed by the Thermoteknix ClipIR XD – a thermal imaging clip-on device mounting on an NVG, providing not only augmented reality data but also thermal imaging fusion. The system provides heads-up navigation and tracking of friendlies, using GPS and digital terrain elevation data (DTED) to deliver accurate visualisation of geo-spatial information.
